Taking this class has given me a really good experience about every aspect of filmmaking i really enjoyed the fact that every week we learned about every aspect from audio design to visual design. im really glad i took this class even though there were hiccups along the way. im grateful i was able to further my knowledge and was able to hone my skills and be a better filmmaker while also learning outside of my own time about how to consume and dissect the media. My favorite week i learned a lot about was the video aspects for the reasons above and i was able to work on becoming a better filmmaker even though i cant be offically a film major, learning outside of my personal life is giving me the chance to experiment and learn. For my final i decided to take on the first person experience and step into sloanes shoes and change the original storyline of ferris bullers by changing her relationship with ferris and change it to camerons. It was a challenge i wanted to take on because it was a movie that a lot of people enjoy (including myself) and because i watched it at the begining of the summer so i wanted to challenge myself with a movie character i was a little familiar with. My most exciting project was the gif of the movie from dead poets society. That scene is so popular and so recognizable that anyone who thinks of dead poet society the first scene that comes to mind is when todd breaks out of his shell. Another movie i watched at the beginning of the summer and one that i greatly enjoy.
